Home fragrance · six house scents
Scent that moves like water.
Candles in hand-glazed river-blue ceramic, reed diffusers and room sprays. Six scents, each one a place you will recognise.

The six house scents
Choose a place, not a perfume
Every scent has its own label colour, so a candle, a diffuser and a spray in the same scent match at a glance.

Flame, reed or mist
Light a candle in the evening, let a diffuser carry the scent through the day, mist a room when guests are on their way.

Why river-blue
Glazed like shallow water over stones
Every vessel is dipped in a deep blue glaze that runs pale at the rim, the way a river does where it is shallow. Because the glaze moves in the kiln, no two pieces come out exactly alike.
When the wax is gone, the vessel stays. Clean it out and keep it for a plant, your brushes or the keys by the door.
Candle care
Three habits for a better burn
A candle burns more evenly and lasts longer when you look after it. These matter for safety too.
Trim
Cut the wick to about 1/4 in before every burn, with the candle cool.
Melt to the edge
On the first burn, let the wax pool reach the rim, usually two to three hours.
Four hours, never alone
Burn for four hours at most, and never leave a lit candle unattended.
Letters from the river
When a new scent arrives
A short email when a new scent or a limited candle arrives. Nothing more, and you can leave any time.
